Migration in Europe

SOLIDAR promotes the rights of migrants in the development of European migration policy, working in cooperation with other international networks, NGOs, think tanks, unions and foundations to lobby the European Institutions and the European Commission and Parliament in particular.

Many SOLIDAR members provide legal counselling, language and IT courses or other services to migrants to aid them in achieving integration.

In addition, SOLIDAR coordinated an 18-month European Commission funded project "Take part!", from June 2006 to December 2007, which focused specifically on labour market integration. Read more about the Take Part project.
