Impact of EU legislation on social services: recommendations for policy makers

This week 8 European networks of social service providers, including SOLIDAR and other members of the Social Platform, issued a revised and extended version of the report made after the seminar ‘Impact of EU legislation on social services’, held on 29 September 2009.

The report focuses on developments concerning the use of public procurement in the field of social services and related issues. It is widely regarded as the first report of its kind, building on real life examples over a wide range of different fields from different countries and putting forward recommendations for policy makers at European and national level.
