Solidarity call against the arrest of Thai activists

Last week, Suthachai Yimprasert and Somyot Prueksakasemsuk have been arrested for their academic and journalistic work in Thailand, and have been taken to Adisorn army base in Saraburi for questioning. Both are known to be activists of 24th June Democracy group, 24 June is the day in Thai history when the parliamentary system was established.

SOLIDAR raises deep concerns about the detention and interrogation of the two labour rights activists in Thailand. We invite you to do the same and to show solidarity with them by writing this letter to the Thai Embassy in your country to put pressure on the Thai Government.
