Social Economy in Europe

An article recently published in "Sozial Extra" highlights the need for social economy organisation to take the concepts, legal frameworks, policy initiatives and funding possibilities at European level into account more than ever before when doing their strategic planning. This is due to the fact that the importance of the EU as legislator and decision taker on structural funds and financial programmes for the areas of employment, social affairs and health has continuously increased during the last decade.
