SOLIDAR Foundation is taking part in the consortium of the new Erasmus+ project coordinated by our partner, University of Valladolid. Collaborative learning action network - CLAN brings together partners from four European countries (Spain, UK, France and Belgium) and its main aim is to solve the growing demand on increasing the employability of people with low skills through information and communication technologies. The way we are going to do that is by developing new software for mobile devices to help the users organise and structure their formal or non-formal education in an intuitive and easy way. During the duration of the project (until April 2019) multiple events and training sessions are foreseen in order to train staff members to use this software (that will be accessible also in the form of the mobile app) and to use it in their daily practice for the assessment and motivation of learners. The consortium members are enthusiastic to offer the app, which will give people the chance to gain recognition for the skills and competencies that they have been acquiring throughout their life without any formal validation.
During the kick-off meeting that took place on Valladolid on 13 and 14 December, partners discussed mutual cooperation, a division of tasks and the technical aspects of the final app. They all agreed that the main requirement is to be user-friendly and accessible, including for people with a low level of digital skills.
If you want to know more about the project keep following our website. We will share more information very soon and inaugurate a project dedicated website.
