On 13 and 14 September, the PROMO project partners convened in Vienna for a meeting hosted by its Austrian member FORBA.
The PROMO project “Protecting Mobility through Improving Labour Rights Enforcement in Europe” consists of multiple reports, workshops and conferences in the years 2017 and 2018 that deal with questions of labour rights protection and data collection systems for posted workers.
The aim of the meeting in Vienna was to fine-tune the current report on “Improving economic democracy for posted workers” which will be available on the SOLIDAR website at the end of October. Furthermore, another study is foreseen for the end of the year that is dedicated to the topic of better information and data collection related to posted work.
The final conference for the PROMO project will take place in Brussels on 20 and 21 November and will be hosted and organized by SOLIDAR. The objective of the final conference is to discuss and present the findings of the project, particularly looking at the impact of posted work, the challenges of data collection as well as the implementation of the Enforcement Directive on Posted Workers. More information on the conference will be available soon.
