Publication of the Policy paper on Peace education in the context of the global citizenship education

Solidar foundation release its policy paper on Peace Education in the context of global citizenship education at the annual thematic conference of November 2022. Peace education has been important to the SOLIDAR Foundation membership's activity across Europe and beyond. All our members work to promote social justice by providing high-quality education that is publicly financed and accessible to all learners throughout their lives.  

This policy paper intends to deepen understanding of what Peace Education is, provide context and, an idea of how it works in practice by bringing together academic literature on Peace Education, relevant Peace Education policies, and case studies from SOLIDAR member organizations. Additionally, the policy paper includes a series of concrete evidence-based policy suggestions aimed at the EU, EU Member States, and civil society organizations. Read the policy paper here.
