Social Rights Monitor 2021 – Country Monitors

SOLIDAR’s Social Rights Monitor 2021 offers an analysis of the state of social rights in 16 European countries: 13 EU countries - Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain and the Netherlands - 2 candidate countries - North Macedonia and Serbia- and the United Kingdom.

A National Strategy Group (NSG), composed of experts from civil society organisations, trade unions and academia, has been created by our members and partners in each of the countries covered by the Monitor. Thanks to the NSGs' input, the assessment of the state of social rights and the civic space mirrors the essential perspective of civil society organisations working on the ground. The input provided by civil society has been complemented by additional scientific findings. The Social Rights Monitor and each Country Monitor can be used as valuable advocacy tools both at national and EU level. Among other things, they show the need for a more consistent implementation of the European Pillar of Social Rights at national level.

You can download the single Country Monitors from the section on the right of this page. The translations of 11 Country Monitors into the national languages are also available.
