Open letter: 60+ organisations demand suspension of EU-Israel Association Agreement

SOLIDAR joins 60+ organisations calling on EU leaders and foreign ministers to take concrete action in response to Israeli authorities’ violations of international and humanitarian law in Palestine and Lebanon.

We call on the European Union to suspend the EU-Israel Association Agreement, ban trade with illegal Israeli settlements, and halt all arms transfers to Israel. These are not political choices, but binding legal obligations under EU and international law.

We stand with the other signatories in highlighting the acceleration of illegal annexation in the West Bank, the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the displacement of over 1.2 million people in Lebanon, and the systematic use of discriminatory legislation against Palestinians, including the recently passed death penalty law. We urge EU member states and institutions to move beyond statements and finally act.
