🏆 Introducing the Silver Rose Awards 2024
We are thrilled to announce the 2024 edition of the Silver Rose Awards, SOLIDAR flagship Award, organized with S&D Group, PES, FEPS and ETUC. This award celebrates individuals and organizations leading change towards a socially just transition to sustainable societies. We’re seeking nominations from all over the world to award and recognize the invaluable work and commitment to fostering a society based on the well-being of everyone and within planetary boundaries.

By nominating individuals or groups who embody the principles of a just transition, you’re amplifying their impact and recognizing their dedication to creating a better world for all. This is more than just an award – it’s an opportunity to showcase inspiring examples and success stories of grassroots activism, innovative policy advocacy, and community resilience.
🌱 Criteria for Nomination:
We’re looking for initiatives that:
- Champion social justice within climate and environmental action.
- Ensure equitable access to clean energy, good jobs, sustainable infrastructure for all.
- Advocate for communities in vulnerable conditions and workers’ rights.
- Demonstrate tangible achievements in local, national, or international contexts.
🔍 How to Nominate:
You can submit a nomination by filling in the nomination form. You have time until 31st May to send in a nomination.
📅 Timeline
- April – May 2024: Nomination period
- September 2024: Selection of the winner
- October 2024: Announcement of the awardees
- December 2024: Award ceremony and advocacy tour in Brussels
