Silver Rose Awards 2026 | Call for Nominations for the just transition award
Are you striving to make a difference and advance a socially just and green transition in your community? Are you fighting for social justice at the local, national or European level? If so, we want to hear from you!
In the midst of ongoing climate and environmental crises as well as social inequalities that remain unaddressed, we need ambitious action that both seeks to maintain the progress already made on these fronts and advance new solutions.
Why nominate?
By nominating individuals or groups who embody the principles of a just transition, you’re amplifying their impact and recognising their dedication to creating a better world for us all. This is more than just an award – it’s an opportunity to showcase inspiring examples and success stories of impactful campaigning, advocacy and movement building for a just transition. Ambitious approaches to a just transition which put people and planet at the centre do exist, and there are people and organisations in Europe and globally working every day to put them into action. The Silver Rose Awards aim to spotlight these approaches and celebrate those who hold firm in their commitment to social justice, climate action and environmental protection. In particular, the Just Transition Award aims to celebrate the achievements of people, movements and organisations who have made an outstanding contribution to advancing a just transition in their given context.
