An Alternative Trade Vision

SOLIDAR strongly opposes the inclusion of social services in the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the EU and US, and work with transatlantic partners to promote the inclusion of enforceable labour and social standards in trade agreements.

With this objective SOLIDAR is establishing a network of fair trade activists to monitor the EU’s particular role in negotiating trade agreements and in particular its commitment to advance ILO Core Labour Standards and Human Rights Declarations, as well as ensuring inclusive development within Europe’s trading partners.
